How to Reach Appartement 601, Arc 1950 – Coming by Train
To come by train to Arc 1950 : Board a TGV train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice. The journey takes around 5 hours from Paris.

- Arc-en-Ciel funicular: When you arrive at Bourg-Saint-Maurice station, take the Arc-en-Ciel funicular, which will take you to Arc 1600 in 7 minutes. Access to the funicular is free for train ticket holders.
- Free shuttle bus: There are free shuttle buses from Arc 1600 to Arc 1950. The journey takes around 15 minutes

The Funicular
The Les Arcs funicular, nicknamed ‘Les Arcs’ Express’, provides a link between Bourg-Saint-Maurice station (810 m) and Arc 1600 resort (1620 m) in just 7 minutes, with a difference in altitude of 810 m. It is fully electric and panoramic, offering breathtaking views of the valley and Mont Blanc.
🕒 Funicular timetable
Winter season
Timetable: every day from 7.30am to 8pm, with a departure every 20 minutes.
Exceptional extension: on Sunday 27 April 2025, the funicular will run from 8am to 6pm, with one departure every hour.
Summer season
Timetable: every day, with frequent departures.
Free: access is free for pedestrians and paragliders.
🎟️ Prices
Adults (aged 13-74): €5 one way, €9 return.
Children (aged 5-12): €7.50 one way.
Free: for pedestrians, paragliders and children under 5.
🚉 How to get there
The funicular departs from Bourg-Saint-Maurice SNCF station, with direct access via a footbridge at the end of the platforms. It is also accessible from the funicular car park.

Reservation: not required for pedestrians and holders of a valid lift pass.
Accessibility: the funicular is included in the Classique, Essentiel, Premium, Piéton and Piéton+ passes for the duration of their validity.
Connections: free shuttle buses are available to Arc 1800, Arc 1950, Arc 2000 and Peisey-Vallandry.
